OnePlus12: Key Specifications (China Variant)
The design of the OnePlus 12 maintains the aesthetics of its predecessor but introduces some subtle changes. The device boasts a glass sandwich construction with a metal frame in the middle and carries an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.
Featuring a 6.82-inch curved OLED display supplied by BOE, the smartphone supports a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels (QHD+), 510 PPI, and a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz (LTPO). The 10-bit screen delivers up to 4500 nits of local peak brightness and supports 2160Hz of PWM dimming.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. To manage heat dissipation, the phone features a 9140mm² VC (Vapor Chamber) cooling system covering an extensive area of 38,547mm².
The camera setup resembles that of the OnePlus Open and the Oppo Find N3, incorporating a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with an OIS-assisted 3x periscope zoom lens, and a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide unit with autofocus. The front camera is a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls, with all cameras tuned using Hasselblad’s image processing.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G connectivity, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS, NFC, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Additional features comprise an alert slider, an IR blaster, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and a dual stereo speaker setup.
The OnePlus 12 runs on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box and is equipped with a 5,400mAh battery. Notably, the device supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
